Well look what I've found...
On deviant art, generally the writers are massively overlooked, because this place was created to cater to the visual artists. Makes sense, the way our society is...most people here perfer a quick visual pleasure, a weak commitment, to actually taking the time to read and think through a poem.
So tonight I decided to find another real writer, from Portland as well. I went through the roll list from the last meet, and choose your name first. Just from the name I knew you had some credibility as an artist, because you were thoughtful enough to pick something other than "bubblegumgirl21" like many others. The point of the story is, I choose right on the first draw. I'm never quite so lucky. It's obvious from your writing that you actually ponder life and wonder about things beyond yourself. This is one of those rare qualities I love in people.
Sorry, I'm rambling. I tend to do that, since it's 12:30 and I'm an insomniac.
To sum up all that: I'll be back to check out your gallery much more thoroughly. I'll look forward to it in fact.

why, thank you. I agree with your thoughts on our culture. Thanks, regarding the name, I usually just go with 'RianSnider' but for dA I tried to be more creative. Thank you again for your comments, I'm glad you enjoy MY rambling about life and all that. Creative writing is an interesting field and I am only beginning to really see how it fits into the puzzle that is life. Anyway, I too enjoy some insomnia, I will have to explore your gallery as well.
